Carolyn Sue Stone, 71 of Sanford died Friday October 17, 2014 at Central Carolina Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Sunday at Cameron Baptist Church by Dr. Wayne Greene. Burial will follow in the Crains Creek Cemetery.
Ms. Stone was born in Moore Co, a daughter of the late John Henry Stone and Maggie Doss Stone. She was a member of Cameron Baptist Church and worked as a CNA for many years.
Ms. Stone is survived by three sons, Daniel Scott Alfaro, Anthony Mark Alfaro, and Kevin Ricardo Alfaro, and wife Lacey, all of Sanford; two sisters, Shirley S. Thomas and Virginia S. Page; three step grandchildren.
The family will receive friends following the committal service Sunday in the Fellowship Hall of Cameron Baptist Church.

she was a very good friend to me throughout all these years we did craft shows together some good and some bad but we always had a good time I could always count on her for advice or just to vent to We had a great relationship and I am tr uly gonna miss her but I know she is in a better place when she was told of her cancer she only wanted to live to see her younger son get married on Labor Day weekend and she did that. Her family will miss her especially her boys they were very close. I am glad to have known her and being her friend . I have lost 2 good friends this year and I am trying to go on and remember them for the good times. Beckie Harris
