James Edward Williams

RICHMOND, VA. -

James Edward Williams died Saturday (11-9-2013) in the Hospice Center in Richmond.

He was born in February of 1941 in Lee County to Alton Junior “Bill” Williams and Irene Crosby Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert “Bobby” Alton Williams. He served in the Navy during Vietnam with honor and received the Bronze Star among other awards. He was a life member with the VFW (Veterans Foreign Wars) Post # 5631. He was also a life member of the American Legion Post # 382.

He is survived by a son, Robert “Bobby” Alton Williams.
