Daniel Edward McInnis 77, of Broadway, passed Friday July 10, 2020. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday July 14, 2020 at Jonesboro Cemetery at 11:00am.
Mr. McInnis was born in Lee Co. to the late Daniel Howard McInnis and Catherine Overton McInnis. He was also preceded in death by son Daniel Jonathan McInnis; sisters Mary M. Legge and Mary Linda Ballard; brother-in-laws Jim Legge and Jimmy Ballard.
He served in the Army, loved to travel, and spend time with his family. He was also an avid Carolina and Atlanta Braves fan and loved all sports.
He is survived by his wife Pat B. McInnis; sisters Louise M. Orris (Bill) of Florida and Arlene Wade; brother Herbie Wade (Jane); and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Jon McInnis Scholarship courtesy of First Congregational Christian Church, P.O. Box 242, Sanford NC 27331.
