WILBUR GARY FARLOW

MERRITT — Wilbur Gary Farlow died Friday (6/13/14) at the Crystal Coast Hospice House in Newport.

He was born in Sanford to Golda and Roscoe Farlow. He graduated from Sanford Central High School and earned an Architectural degree from N.C State University. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in Germany and Vietnam. After returning from Vietnam, he became an architect with the U.S. Navy Dept. in Norfolk, Va. After retiring from Navy Dept. he returned to North Carolina.

He is survived by his brother, Tom (Carolyn) Farlow of Denton, Texas, and a stepsister, Sherry (Bill) Daughty of Raleigh.

Internment will be held at Buffalo Cemetery at a later date.

Wilbur Gary Farlow

SANFORD  -  A graveside service for Wilbur Gary Farlow, who died June 13 in Pamlico County, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2014, at Buffalo Cemetery. A reception will follow the service.

He was born July 28, 1943, to Roscoe and Golda Farlow in Sanford. He graduated from Sanford Central High School and earned an architectural degree from N.C. State University. He was a U.S. Army veteran and served in Germany and Vietnam. Upon returning from Vietnam, he became an architect with the U.S. Navy Dept.

He is survived by a brother, Tom Farlow and wife Carolyn of Denton, Texas, and a stepsister, Sherry Daughty and husband Bill of Raleigh.
