Mr. Norman Cecil Calcutt, 71, of Sanford, N.C., died Thursday, April 4, 2013, at Duke Hospital.

Mr. Calcutt was born in Harnett County, on Jan. 3, 1942, to the late Jesse Harding Calcutt and Ruth Gray Calcutt.

He is survived by his wife, Lois Gales Calcutt; a son, Cecil J. Calcutt; a daughter, Marie Calcutt Miller and husband Eric; a brother, Ted Calcutt and by a sister, Carol Calcutt all of Sanford, N.C. He was also survived by three grandchildren, Marcus Hickman, Tiffany Calcutt, and Lyndsy Patrick and one great-grandchild, Jasmine Calcutt.

The family will receive friends Saturday, April 6, 2013, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Sunday, April 7, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at Shallow Well Cemetery with Rev. Richard Wood officiating.
