Marvin Lee Cagle, Jr., 73, of Seven Lakes died Thursday, March 30, 2017, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.

Funeral services will be held 4:00pm Sunday at Emmanuel Baptist Church with Pastor Eugene Ussery and Pastor John Chavis officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Born in Moore County September 18, 1943 to the late Marvin Lee and Lillian Luther Cagle, Sr. He graduated from Sanford Central High School, class of 1961. Lee was an avid dirt track racer and had a love for automobiles. He married Suzanne on November 7, 1969 and became a wonderful husband, father, and PaPa. He worked with Aberdeen Coca-Cola for many years and later retired from sales in the auto industry and was currently working with Stanly Auto in Carthage.

Survived by his wife, Suzanne; a son, Scott (Kim) Cagle of Carthage; a daughter, Kelly C. Dowd (Kevin Lee) of Lilesville; a sister, Lorraine Adkins of Carthage; and four grandchildren, McKeena and Carson Cagle and Kolby and Kaine Dowd.

The family will receive friends from 2:30-4:00 pm at Emmanuel Baptist Church.
