Anne Byrd Parker, age 79, of Sanford, NC, passed away Friday, February 18, 2022 at the FirstHealth Hospice House.
She was born in Lee County, NC on August 16, 1942 to the late John Washington Byrd and Thelma Thomas Byrd. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Larry Foster Byrd and Richard Lynn Byrd. Mrs. Parker was a loving homemaker and a member of Juniper Springs Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband Kenneth Harold Parker; son Jason Parker and wife Suzanne of Albermarle, NC; brother John Wesley Byrd of Sanford; sister Mary Byrd Lee of Greensboro; grandchildren Carsen Parker and Sawyer Lynn Parker and two special nieces Sherry Byrd Cooper and Amanda Lee Debidart.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service on Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2022, from 11-12 noon at Juniper Springs Baptist Church with the funeral service following 12PM with Rev. Eddie Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
